What is the difference between photocurable liquid silica gel and high-temperature cured liquid silica gel?

Photocurable liquid silica gel and high-temperature cured liquid silica gel are two different curing systems, each with distinct characteristics:

1. Curing Method

Photocurable silica gel uses UV light to initiate curing at room temperature, completing within seconds. High-temperature cured silica gel requires heating (typically 100-200C) for curing, taking minutes to hours depending on the formulation.

2. Advantages

Photocurable: Fast curing, suitable for heat-sensitive substrates, low energy consumption. High-temperature cured: Deeper curing capability, better overall mechanical properties, higher temperature resistance.

3. Application Scenarios

Photocurable is commonly used for electronic coating, bonding, and 3D printing. High-temperature cured is preferred for injection molding, compression molding, and applications requiring high thermal stability.
