Liquid silicone and solid silicone are the two most commonly used materials in silicone product manufacturing. They differ in physical form, molding process, and performance characteristics.

1. Physical Form

- Liquid silicone: Comes as a flowing liquid in two components (A and B), which cure after mixing

- Solid silicone: Comes as pre-mixed solid rubber compound, requires heating and compression molding

2. Molding Process

- Liquid silicone: Uses injection molding, high automation, high production efficiency

- Solid silicone: Uses compression molding, requires manual material feeding, lower automation

3. Flowability

- Liquid silicone: Excellent flowability, can form complex structures and thin-wall products

- Solid silicone: Poorer flowability, requires higher pressure to fill the mold cavity

4. Performance Differences

- Liquid silicone: Better transparency, excellent rebound performance, high product precision
