Introduction to BMC bulk molding process
BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) is a thermoset composite material consisting of unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester resin, glass fibers, fillers, and additives. The BMC molding process: 1) Material loading into injection barrel, 2) Injection into heated mold (140-170C), 3) Curing through chemical crosslinking (30-90 seconds), 4) Demolding of rigid, heat-resistant part. BMC offers excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
