Properties and Applications of Antistatic Silicone

Antistatic silicone (also called conductive silicone or static dissipative silicone) is a special elastomer made by adding conductive fillers (such as carbon black, carbon fiber, metal powder, conductive ceramic powder, etc.) to regular silicone, giving it the ability to dissipate static electricity. It maintains the excellent inherent properties of silicone (high and low temperature resistance, weather resistance, flexibility, chemical stability) while adding conductivity or antistatic properties.

Main Application Areas:

Electronics Manufacturing: Antistatic silicone, with its surface resistance control range of 10^6-10^9 ohms and dual characteristics of antistatic protection plus physical protection, has become an important material in static-sensitive processes of the electronics manufacturing industry. Product forms include sheets, pads, trays, and more.
